    The teaching materials will be made available or indicated by the teacher during the course. While attending the course, the student must have the text of Regulation (EU) no. 679 of 2016. 
  • Learning objectives:
    At the end of the course, the student is aware of the content of the right to the protection of personal data. Aware of the relativity of the content of this right, the student will be able to reconstruct the claims recognized by the law to the interested party and to consciously apply the rules that proceduralize the processing of his information.

  • Exam type:
    Oral examination.
    The exam will be aimed at verifying the understanding of the legal institutions covered by the program, the conscious use of legal concepts and the ability to critically analyze the impact of the law in social relations. The assessment of the interview will be carried out taking into consideration: the knowledge of institutional profiles and the jurisprudential guidelines; the ability to make connections between the different parts of the program; the ability to develop critical arguments; the exposure articulation; the accuracy of the exposure.

The course analyzes the right to the protection of personal data and the rules governing the processing of information referring directly or indirectly to the person and which constitute an essential component of his social identity.

The right to privacy and the right to the protection of personal data.

The general principles and conditions of legitimacy of the treatment.
The particular categories of personal data.
